Greek Biotope\/Wetland Centre (EKBY) is a project partner; it contributes to all stages of development of the Biodiversity Information System and is responsible for the following tasks:<\/p><ul><li><p>identification, analysis and mapping of stakeholders, mapping of their knowledge and skills and investigation of their needs and expectations in relation to the National Biodiversity Information System, and assessment of shortcomings and challenges in the management of biodiversity information,<\/p><\/li><li><p>inventory and review of existing biodiversity information and identification of potential data providers,<\/p><\/li><li><p>definition of the thematic structure of the Information System and its thematic domains and &#8216;translation&#8217;
